Arden Software has completed the acquisition of Cimex
Corporation.
Arden Software,
a global provider of CAD CAM software for packaging design, specializing in
development of collaboration, automation, workflow, and manufacturing
software, has completed its acquisition of Cimex Corporation
.
The joining of these two
companies will bring
together the best minds in the industry to usher in a new era of software
tools for the development of package design, die design and manufacturing.
Jim
Silianoff, President of Arden Software North America, said: “The breadth of
knowledge and experience within Cimex, combined with the development power
of Arden, will ensure we’re uniquely positioned to deliver highly automated,
efficient and innovative solutions to our existing and new customers, so
we’re delighted to bring their skills and expertise into the Arden Group.
“Our industry remains a highly collaborative and increasingly technical
environment. Whether it’s new technologies for die-making and manufacturing,
workflow automation, ecommerce, packaging design or collaboration, this
acquisition will solidify our position as a technology innovator in the
packaging industry, building on the strong relationships that both companies
have with their customers.”
Andrew Carey, President of Cimex Corporation, said: "I
am sure that many of you are familiar with Arden and I know that many are
mutual customers of both Arden Software and Cimex. We both share many of
the same traits as a company. We have both as a company and as individuals
worked with and for our customers for many years developing our expertise in
our fields. While competing we have both had our individual strengths, but
the joining of the two companies is very complementary.
"

development and esteemed customer relationships in the packaging and
printing industries, so we’re confident this acquisition will deliver real
benefits to our customers and strengthen our position within the market.”
A few
key points
of this
aquisition and what it means for our customers:
· It is
business-as-usual for both Arden Software and Cimex. No one knows better
than us that our business is not just based on technology, but on the
relationships that we have with our customers.
· We will continue
to develop and support the CimPACK family of products.
· We will
be using the industry and technological know-how of the Arden team to
enhance and then develop the next generation of Impact CAD/CAM tools for the
packaging industries.
· Together we will grow our profile in the
industries that we serve by developing highly innovative software with
shorter development cycles.
Arden Software and Cimex have been
contemplating
a future together for the past
year. While COVID-19 did
result in a delay, the
reason for the acquisition remain
s the same. Arden
Software combined with Cimex is
now one of the
largest providers of structural design and workflow automation software for
the print and packaging industries in the world
and
together we look forward to the possibilities and what this year and beyond
